Girl's Getaway

In February, I had the chance to do a getaway weekend with my close girlfriends from college in San Francisco. We had wonderful meals, lots of shopping, beautiful weather and of course plenty of girl talk. I usually do an Oscar viewing party, but in lieu of that and since we were enroute home, we watched part of it in the airport.

Lake Chelan Getaway

One of the families in Andrew's class was very generous and let us use their Lake Chelan place in February. We were hoping for lots of snow, but instead got lots of clear, blue sky with views of the snow and the lake. It was a very relaxing weekend with lots of family time, games, walks along the beach, good meals and rest.

It was just what we all needed to rejuvenate from some very busy weeks.
