First day of school

It's hard to believe Mason has started his second year of pre-school. He is in the Tiger Room this year and loving it. Meeting lots of new friends, enjoying his new teachers Mary and Shirley and learning more and more everyday. We could tell Chloe was itching to go with her big brother this year, but it will be soon enough.

Summer Wrap-Up/Back-to-school

Summer went by way too fast this year, and before we knew it, school was about to start again. We squeezed in one last weekend at the cabin for Labor Day/Andrew's birthday as well as a few of the remaining warm and sunny weekends at the beach. One of our favorites is Luther Burbank on Mercer Island. There usually aren't big crowds and it's pretty convenient to our house.

We also trekked to Pt. Defiance Zoo - another favorite. The weather was absolutely beautiful that day and the kids got to experience many of the animals - a short presentation on the tigers, a camel ride for Mason, an armadillo and more.
