Memorial Day Weekend

We had a nice, quiet Memorial Day weekend this year spent hanging out as a family, visiting relatives and doing some projects around the house. We made a trip up to Mt. Vernon to visit my great aunt and great uncle and help take flowers to the cemetary where many of my relatives are. We also made a trip to the infamous Snow Goose produce stand while visiting to get ice cream (you would never believe the size of these cones). All in all a great weekend!

Happy Mother's Day

The official Mother's Day became too busy to take pictures, but I did snap a few at Mason's preschool Mother's Day event, which happened last Thursday. The kids were so proud to show off their room, perform a few songs, serve us fruit, lemonade and pound cake and present us with presents.

I feel so blessed to be a mom to my two wonderful kids and to have such a wonderful mom who has set an amazing example for me, always been there for me and is now a wonderful grandma to our two kids.
